Swimming truly is an unforgiving sport, miss a day in the pool and you will feel the consequences for the next few months. Aryaan, being a professional swimmer understands this better than anyone I have ever encountered and is always there whenever I feel like missing a 5am session, encouraging me to go and give it my all. Not only does he provide help outside the pool, but in the pool he often recognises faults in my stroke or my aerobic ability, a trait that most coaches (including my own) do not possess, and he advices me on where to improve. He understands that swimming is incredibly personalised, different things work for different swimmers and will be one of the first to (correctly) recommend where to improve.
