About POOJA
My name is Pooja Tayal, a professional Bharatanatyam dancer, exending my dance skills with Dr Himanshu Srivastava an established dancer, reasearch scholar and painter.
I have completed my Bachelors of Arts in English and French literarture from University of Delhi. Currently I am pursuing french language from Allinace Française, Level B1.
I can speak 3 languages Hindi,English and French.
While I am a student myself I understand the value of a teacher in one's life.Teaching is a meaningful career, and I want to become a teacher so that I can make a real difference in other's lives. I like the creativity and independance that teaching offers. I would love to impart knowledge and cultural richness my country has to offer.

I started learning Bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance form) at a tender age of 6 under Guru Smt Renuka Iyer. Currently, I am extending my dance skills with Dr. Himanshu Srivastava in Delhi,India.
My experience,
Performed Bharatanatyam in a cultural event “Sanskriti Virasat” on the occasion of Rajya Sabha day at The Parliament House,2022 under the guidance of Guru Smt Rani Khanum and Indian council of cultural relations (ICCR).
Attended 2 days intensive workshop with Guru Parshwanath Upadhye in the year 2018.
Performed at the closing ceremony of International Centre for Informations and audit.
I have represented India at the International Children’s Festival,China in the year 2013
Performed and conducted a workshop at the Japanese school in 2011.
I have been teaching this art form for the past 3 years (online and offline), In India.I focus upon Interactive sessions and guide my students in developing and fostering dance techniques while strenghening their bodies. I also choreograph dance routines for performances.
My lessons usually takes place for 1 hour.
Currently, I am offering online classes for beginners for 6+ years of age with flexible timings.
