About Elena

I am a professional freelance dancer and choreographer. I began my classical dance studies at the Professional Conservatory of Classical Dance in Valencia, expanded my knowledge at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London and at the NOD International Dance Program, Torino. Currently 3rd year of Interpretation at the Conservatorio Superior María de Ávila in Madrid. In relation to the world of spectacles, I am studying a Higher Degree in audiovisual production and shows at IFP Madrid.

I have worked as a professional classical dancer collaborator for the National Ballet of Cuba in the production of 'The Nutcracker' in 2009 , Principal Theater, Valencia. As a contemporary dancer for various choreographers such as Nicolas Ventura, Ramon Oller, Jesus Pedroche, Olivia Grassot, for the NOD institution and for the artistic company 'Parcel Creatives' based in Tel-aviv, Israel.
I have created various independent choreographies such as the solo 'Breakers' scheduled for RESAD, Madrid in 2020. I am co-founder of the choreographic collective Ko-Ramé together with Alvaro Cano, which has recently been awarded the 3rd Prize in the category Dancing with Stones with the piece 'RYTTARNA' in the Burgos-New York 2021 International Choreography Contest and prize to replace the piece with the Young Company of Burgos in 2022.

About the lesson

I teach specific classes for dancers who seek to improve their classical and contemporary technique, physical condition, improvisation tools and movement qualities in order to be a more complete and versatile professional.
I use the imagination and physicality to transmit the content to the student. In addition, I try to bring the student closer to the understanding and connection between body and mind through a meditative process of exploration with which to achieve a greater awareness of the whole and be able to transfer it to dance.
The classes would consist of an intense warm-up to improve fitness, a technique class (contemporary / classical) followed by an improvisation or movement quality technique class
My classes are aimed at all types of dancers of all levels and ages.
