About Erik
Erik (they/them) is a trans non-binary dancer currently based in Wilmington, DE. They have trained with Orlando Ballet, Philadelphia Ballet, Balletx, and Co-Motion, and have been working professionally with First State Ballet Theatre for 3 years, as well as various guest projects across the US.
My hope with these classes is to create a safe environment to encourage and inspire a love for the expression of movement, with an emphasis on technical aspects of dance!

Ballet classes are technique-focused with influence from ABT, Vaganova, and Balanchine methods. Pointe and pre-pointe options are available! Classes will be tailored to each individual's skill level and goals, with an emphasis on strengthening placement and attention to detail.
Contemporary classes are heavily attuned to somatic methods of creating shapes and flow, improvisationally informed. Floor work and methods of making expansive movement will be used! Again, classes will be tailored to each individual's skill level and goals.
