About Victoria

Professional me! As a seasoned professional with a profound interest in Psychology and Mental Well-being, I have dedicated my academic and professional pursuits to these fields, complemented by ongoing professional development. My approach uniquely integrates psychological and counselling practices into daily life while underpinning my work with solid theoretical foundations. Additionally, I offer support in areas such as communication skills, critical and academic writing, and general guidance to assist you in your educational journey. I genuinely care about my students' ability to progress in their studies. Personal me! I am a Scottish Native and animal lover. I am down-to-earth with exceptional communication skills. I have a formal diagnosis of ADHD, which gives me a unique ability to assist and relate to those who may have additional learning needs. While this does not interfere with my ability to support you, it does give me the advantage of being able to empathise and support those with additional support needs as well as those without to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

What can I offer you? -Qualified healthcare professional with five years of experience working with students and supporting their learning needs holistically with care and empathy at the heart of my practice. -7 years of experience working with individuals with additional needs, including those with Mental health conditions, Learning disabilities and physical health needs. -I have my BSc Hons in Mental Health Nursing and have been practising as a mental health Nurse for five years, utilising psychology and counselling principles in everyday work life, giving me a unique vantage point for my teaching, as I provide experience that goes beyond theory and can provide practical experience. - I am currently 2/3 through my Master's degree in Psychology and Mental Wellbeing and will be qualified in January 2026. -I have the ability to tailor my approach to your learning needs. I genuinely enjoy teaching and supporting you within your learning; nothing will ever be too much trouble for me. -I will work in collaboration with you to establish a learning plan that meets your personal and learning goals in order to ensure you are getting the most from the tutoring experience.
