Strong reading skills open the door to success in every subject, and my goal is to help each learner walk through that door with confidence. I am Oluwatobiloba Blessing Ojo, an English and reading tutor with over two years of teaching experience supporting primary and secondary learners both online and in classroom settings. I work with students aged 4 to 15, helping them develop reading fluency, comprehension, and clear communication skills.
My teaching approach is structured, patient, and learner-centred. I carefully adapt lessons to each student’s level, pace, and learning needs to ensure steady and measurable progress. For younger learners, I use phonics-based instruction, guided reading, and engaging activities to build strong literacy foundations. For older students, I focus on comprehension strategies, vocabulary development, grammar accuracy, and confident written expression. I believe students learn best when lessons are clear, interactive, and supportive.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes review, focused instruction, guided practice, and feedback. I monitor progress closely and provide strategies that help learners improve beyond the lesson.
I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and capable of achieving lasting improvement in English.
