About Andrea
I’m a university-trained linguist with a background in Linguistics and Semitics and extensive experience teaching languages to international students.
I work with adult and professional learners who want to improve their English for business, work and everyday communication. My focus is on helping non-native speakers become more confident, accurate and effective in English, whether they need to participate in meetings, communicate with colleagues and clients, give presentations, write professional emails or develop their general fluency.
I work across CEFR levels from A1 to C2 and adapt my teaching to each learner’s starting point, goals and professional needs. My approach is supportive and practical, with clear explanations, conversation practice and honest, constructive feedback.

How my lessons work
**Warm-up – 5 minutes**
We begin with a quick review of previous work, key vocabulary or a short conversation. This gives me a chance to see what you have retained and what needs further attention.
**Core session – 40 minutes**
We focus on the skills most relevant to your goals. This might include professional conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, presentations, meetings, interviews or business communication.
**Wrap-up – 15 minutes**
We review the main points from the lesson, identify areas to work on and agree on clear goals for the next session. Where useful, I set a short, focused homework task to consolidate your learning.
Lessons are adapted to your level, professional needs and objectives, so the balance between conversation, language work and practical communication can change from one lesson to the next.

Andrea is an excellent tutor, my needs were very specific, I needed a tutor who could take my current level of german and improve this towards fluency. He is very structured and prepared, we know what is to be discussed and improved upon. We meet weekly for 90mins and typically have an hour homework. My German has improved immensely, I am now reading german Novels and Newspapers, something I would have struggled with before we met. I would highly recommend Andrea
