About Aju Samuel
Hello,
I had been teaching English to speakers of Arabic for the past ten years and eleven months, starting from January 13, 2013 to December 6, 2023, at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Salalah, Sultanate of Oman, after completing a Ph.D. in Linguistics, a Masters in Linguistics, and a Bachelors in English Language and Literature. I also graduated with CELTA (Cambridge English Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certifications to fine-tune my skills and expertise in teaching English to other languages.
I am also a flexible person who gives the utmost importance to achieve the goals. i.e. your needs as a student.

My approach is student-centered, focusing on enabling the students to acquire the English language skills through a mixed teaching methodology suitable to the requirements.
Being a passionate instructor of TESOL, I always try to consider myself a learner of another language to understand the problems associated with acquiring the different components of a new language at both the micro and macro levels. It enables me to grasp the level of difficulty faced by students in the language learning process and find out ways to overcome such difficulties with the proper language teaching strategies and methodologies.
