About Shania

Hello! I’m Shania, a passionate and qualified English teacher with over six years of teaching and tutoring experience. I also spent one year in China, teaching English to Chinese students of various ages and levels. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education and I’m also a qualified Business Studies and Language teacher. My diverse teaching background has given me a strong understanding of how to make lessons engaging, practical, and results-driven, whether I’m teaching young children their first English words or helping professionals refine their Business English for international communication. I love helping my students build confidence and truly enjoy the process of learning English. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where you feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and growing your skills at your own pace. Each student receives personalized guidance and continuous feedback to ensure lessons are productive and motivating. I maintain a friendly yet professional approach, ensuring students feel comfortable while staying focused on their goals. About the lesson

My lessons are completely tailored to each individual — every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to meet your personal goals, learning style, and level of confidence. Whether you’re a beginner looking to build strong foundations or an advanced learner refining professional communication, each class is designed to help you make real, lasting progress. I use a student-centered and interactive teaching style, combining speaking practice, listening, grammar, and vocabulary in a natural and engaging way. I also include authentic materials — such as articles, videos, and real-life business scenarios — to help you apply your English to everyday or professional contexts. My lessons typically last 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted to suit your schedule and goals. I have over six years of tutoring and teaching experience, including teaching English as a Foreign Language in China to students of all ages and levels. Alongside my TEFL certification, I hold a Master’s Degree in Education and I’m also a qualified Business Studies teacher, which allows me to support professionals in developing their Business English for meetings, interviews, presentations, and workplace communication.
