Music has been a part of my life since childhood, and over the years, the bansuri has become not just an instrument, but a voice for my emotions, discipline, and devotion to art. I believe that music—especially Indian classical music—is a spiritual journey, and teaching gives me a chance to share that joy, peace, and connection with others. I teach not just to show how to play notes, but to help students feel the music, understand its depth, and experience the calm and beauty it brings. Sharing this knowledge is my way of keeping our musical heritage alive and accessible. Namaste! I am an Indian classical flutist with a Master’s degree in Flute from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. With years of training in North Indian classical music and a deep appreciation for contemporary Bollywood melodies, I offer personalized flute lessons for all levels – from absolute beginners to advanced learners. In my classes, you will: Learn correct fingering, blowing techniques, and posture Explore beautiful ragas from the Hindustani classical tradition Play popular Bollywood songs with expression and clarity Understand rhythm (taal), ornamentation, and improvisation Develop both technique and musicality at your own pace Whether you're learning for performance, passion, or peace of mind, my goal is to help you connect deeply with the soulful sound of the bansuri (bamboo flute).
