I have known Devyn for many years, and he is a wonderful flutist, teacher, and person. Devyn is a kind and encouraging instructor who helps his students achieve levels they never thought possible. He is a fantastic performer and generously shares his talents through many wonderful videos on his YouTube channel. Devyn tailors his instruction to each student's unique needs, making every lesson impactful. I cannot recommend Devyn more highly as a teacher. He goes above and beyond for his students and will help you accomplish things you never imagined you could.

I have been studying with Devyn since October 2023. I chose him after hearing his beautiful playing on a number of YouTube videos. Studying with Devyn has been one of the best musical decisions I have ever made.
I came to Devyn as a relative newcomer to the flute, and he has helped improve my playing significantly. He is an exceptionally gifted flute player and performer as well as an incredibly skilled teacher. Devyn is able to quickly identify and diagnose any problems I am having. He stresses fundamentals and works closely with me in developing my technique and sound. The exercises and repertoire he chooses are specifically tailored to help me improve my playing and learn important compositions for the flute.
What I also find remarkable is that all of our lessons have been over Zoom. The fact that I have learned so much and feel very good about my progress, despite Devyn and I not being in the same physical space, is a testament to his keen ability to teach effectively on the Zoom platform.
Since I started studying with Devyn, I have successfully played the flute and piccolo in the pit orchestra of a Broadway show and with The Big Apple Circus Band, both in New York City.
I highly recommend Devyn to all flute students at any level and look forward to continuing my studies with him!
