About Katie

I am a graduate French teacher who love online tutoring. French language and culture are like a fine chocolate to me. The more, the better.
Everyone welcome to my one-to-one class and to a free trial lesson. Come and grow yourself with my teaching skills.

About the lesson

My method
I have a very patient, friendly, dedicated and attentive approach.
I know how complicated it can be to talk in a foreign language. But don’t forget, mistakes and their corrective feedback are an inseparable part of language acquisition. So don't be anxious if you misunderstand something. You just need to keep talking and at the end of the conversation I will give you feedback.
I adapt to your goal, knowledge, ability of course and I will support you to improve all your skills: oral and written comprehension and expression.
Considering your interests I will bring you some authentic material such as humorous short stories, easy meal recipes, idioms, songs… etc.
On basic level:
I concentrate on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and spelling. I encourage you to listen to French songs for a few minutes to relax and inspire you. I will give you some homework to deepen your knowledge.
On intermediate and advanced level
I teach you many complex things such as letter composition. I enrich the course with audio files, along with original magazine articles and press releases. Then, I ask some questions to check your understanding. Furthermore, we have a discussion to improve your conversational skills. By this you get more confident in spoken communication.
