Having taught a wide range of students from beginner to advanced I have learned to tailor lessons for the individual. Some students prefer a more clinical approach to lessons with a focus on theoretical concepts such as sight-reading and harmony, whilst others may want to learn their favourite Oasis song.
Technique and Improvisation are pivotal components of my method and I believe that students who learn these skills have a great advantage when it comes to advancing as players regardless of their end goals.
