About Craig

Hi! My name is Craig MacQuarrie. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 years old, influenced by my father. He has played all his life, from when he was 17 to now at 51. I grew up watching him and I have loved it ever since. I have been working as a professional musician for some time now and have found great personal satisfaction in every facet of music work, be that performing live, writing and composing, teaching, or the actual mixing and mastering of tracks. I currently can play up to and beyond grade 8 level on guitar, and have grade 5 level theory knowledge as set out by the ABRSM, although I have not stopped improving and expanding my knowledge to continue to better myself both musically and in regards to my theory chops. I enjoy teaching as I'm helping spread the joy of music that has helped me greatly in life to others.

About the lesson

I have been playing guitar for more than 11 years now, and teaching for the past 2 years. I make sure to teach whatever my student will find interesting in order to keep them motivated in obtaining a fully rounded music/instrument education. Whether you're interested in musictheorfy, obtaining the grades or just getting better technique, I can tailor the lessons and workwith you to achieve your goals!
