About Leo
I started playing piano while I was in Year 8 of high-school, and in that time I have played in multiple bands of different genres from Pop to Metal. I understand the feeling of wondering if lessons will “be for me” or if the lessons will be focused on technical exercises or classical music. My approach is everyone has different ways of learning, and whatever way it may be, my goal as a tutor is to nurture the musician - find their tastes and adapt to them.

As a Grade 8 Pianist, my approach to teaching changes depending on the individual. Sometimes teaching the groundwork theory first, to simply learning the songs a student likes; blossoming a passion for music based on each student’s interest. Lessons typically last between 30-60 minutes with lessons aimed at beginner - intermediate players.
