I have 25 years experience in the music industry as a performer, composer, producer and sound engineer.

I have performed at an international level: V- Festival; Fuji Rock Festival; Coachella Festival; U.S Tour; European Tours; U.K Tours.

Feature on hundreds of commercially released recordings including labels: Warner Bros; EMI; XL Recordings; Ministry Of Sound; Hed Kandi.

Worked with artists and producers including: Happy Mondays; Black Grape; Peter Hook; Badly Drawn Boy; Doves; Johnny Marr; Bonehead; Mani; Steven Street ; Alan McGee; Paul Oakenfold.

Composed and worked as musical director for UKTV; Channel Four.

I am currently a part time senior lecturer (B.A music production ) Leeds college of music, and have also offered both private and school based tuition throughout my professional carrer.

Tailored lessons to your specific needs. Chords, Songs, Scales Improvisation, Music Theory.

Experienced at teaching many levels from beginner to advanced and everything inbetween!

I will build you a plan based on what you want to achieve with set goals to achieve every week.

Focus on what you want, i.e learning songs, lead guitar, bass lines, a specific style (i.e Rock bass, Funk Guitar etc.)

I am an improvisation specialist so can very much enjoy improvising with my students and playing along to backing tracks etc. This is a fun and great way to develop your musical skills.

Lessons can be recorded and I have many materials I can provide for you to practice with in your own time.
