About Krittika

I am a professional Odissi Dancer interested in teaching this dance through modern techniques. I have submitted my PhD in Performance Studies at JNU, New Delhi and am a post-graduate of English Literature. I am also a professional singer and founding-member of the band 'Baudhkaro'.

About the lesson

I am a Visharad Pratham in Odissi. I have learnt the Guru Kelucharan Mohaptra style of Odissi from Guru Debi Basu (Mumbai) and Guru Kumkum Lal (Delhi) and use both their methods to teach. I see dance as a way of keeping fit both mentally and physically and try to inculcate that philosophy in my students.

Group classes (of minimum 3 people) can be taken for a monthly fees of 1500/8 classes. I do not consider age or gender to be a barrier for learning dance.
