About Allen
I have been performing music on stage for many years and at many varying levels. I started playing the banjo when I was just 12 years old, and have played guitar on Broadway for more than a couple years. I have many varying music interests and feel comfortable teaching almost any genre of music from Bjork to Bluegrass!
I also am an avid cook, and love to share recipes and hear new ideas.

I begin every relationship with a student by assessing their skill level and what they desire or need to grow as a musician.
Based on the individuals experience, skill level, and specific needs, I begin a very hands on, experience-based approach to learning the specific instrument.
