About Wren
I am a singing coach with 13 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. My passion lies in helping students develop their voices while building confidence and musical understanding. I believe in a balanced approach to vocal training that combines technique, stylistic versatility, and creative exploration.
My lessons focus on improvisation, harmony, ear training, and music theory, giving students the tools to sing with freedom and awareness. I tailor each session to individual goals, ensuring that beginners, hobbyists, and advanced singers all feel supported and challenged. Performance preparation is an important part of my teaching, helping students deliver their best on stage or in recording settings.

My teaching approach focuses on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and long-term voice care for both solo singers and ensemble performers. I begin each session with gentle warm-ups to relax the voice, improve flexibility, and ensure healthy vocal placement. Hydration and proper breath support are emphasized, as they are essential for sustaining tone and avoiding strain.
For soloists in training, I help balance technical goals with mental calm, encouraging mindful awareness of breath, pitch, and expression. Ensemble singers learn to blend and harmonize while maintaining vocal health and enjoying the shared musical experience. Mindfulness exercises and guided breathwork are incorporated to reduce tension and foster joy in every performance.
Students are encouraged to use vocal tracking apps to monitor progress, mindfulness timers to structure practice, and guided breathwork tools to strengthen focus and relaxation. I provide personalized exercises tailored to each voice type and goal, combining technique, artistry, and well-being. Lessons are paced gently, ensuring consistent growth without pressure.
