About Tomi

I am Tomi, one of the three partners of GARAGE, the Argentinian virtual music academy. With 13 years of experience in music teaching, our school had the opportunity to coach more than 300 students. In 2020 we expanded our academy virtually to more than 10 countries, including: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Portugal, Ireland, England, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, New Zealand and Australia, among others. Throughout our years of experience in music education, we have developed an exclusive teaching method, created to facilitate connection with your instrument and with other musicians. During this journey, our goal is to make learning music entertaining and enjoyable. We believe that learning is a complex process, and we are committed to taking care of it through the bond with our students. For this reason, we have created a team of teachers in constant communication, trained and qualified to teach the following instruments: ♪ Guitar ♪ Bass ♪ Ukulele ♪ Piano ♪ Singing ♪ Drums

About the lesson

How long have you wanted to play that song, but it doesn’t work? Do you feel stuck in learning by yourself? Our lessons are prepared for you to learn the songs that you love and play them with your favorite instrument. During this experience, those songs will be the guide to discover key tools and concepts for understanding what you are doing. In our classes you will learn: ♪ Chords ♪ Strumming, fingerpicking, and picking styles in different musical genres ♪ Guitar and singing coordination ♪ Fingering exercises to improve technique and speed ♪ Solos, improvisation, and scales ♪ Theory of musical harmony and composition In addition, if you wish, you will be able to access two complementary experiences for your learning: ♪ Virtual ensemble with students from all over the world ♪ Music production: we coach you in the process of composing and producing your own songs or covers.
