About Kessy
I am a native English speaker with over 10 years of experience teaching adult learners, from complete beginners to university-level students. As a professional English language teacher, I have taught at universities and language schools in Australia and internationally. My area of expertise is academic English, but I am also highly qualified to teach Business English, General English, and IELTS preparation. I will soon complete a Master’s in Applied Linguistics, further strengthening my ability to support language learners effectively. Having lived in Australia since childhood, I can help you understand both the language and the culture. I’ve also lived in seven countries and traveled to more than 50, which has given me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and communication. In addition to English, I speak Mandarin Chinese fluently and have studied Japanese, Italian, French, and Spanish. I understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a new culture, and I’m here to guide you through that journey with empathy and practical support.
