About Istvan
I commenced my studies on the violin at a very young age and through my musical life studied at the Budapest Music Academy and Vienna Academy of Music, under a full scholarship.
I performed as a soloist in Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark and other music venues on mainland Europe, also winning national and international competitions.
In 2008, I traveled to Ireland where I started teaching and performing. I have given public and private masterclasses, as well as being a professional solo artist. I have also worked with the RTE Concert Orchestra and RTE National Symphony Orchestra.

Offering classical violin lessons for all levels: Beginners -Intermediate -Advanced
-Junior & Leaving Certificate practical examinations
-ABRSM exams
-Academy and Conservatory auditions.
My teaching is based on various methods: Ivan Galamian's and David Oistrakh's school for violin, and Kodaly method.
Teaching sessions are approximately 90 minutes in duration, and are tailored to meet the individual needs of every student.
I provide a free trial lesson to give the student a chance to experience my teaching style.
