About Keely
I am a writer and editor based in Cape Town. My fiction has appeared in the anthology super/natural, The Sun, and Inter-Magazine. My essays have appeared in journals such as the James Baldwin Review and Safundi, as well as the arts publications ArtThrob, Mask, Flaunt, Autre, and ASAI.
I was a finalist in the Winter Tangerine Awards, a recipient of the Manchester University Graduate Student Essay Award, and the winner of the Ruth George Poetry Prize.
Most recently, I was awarded a Master's with distinction in Creative Writing from the University of Cape Town.
