My name is Maddie and I can't wait to help you become a better writer!
A bit about myself: I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and 3 years of professional writing experience. More specifically, my experience includes a year-long course in novel writing, over a dozen courses related to research and analysis writing, two professional writing positions, and a heap of freelance work.
I have expertise in creative, professional, and academic writing, and have learned from some of the best. I look forward to working with you!

My goal as your tutor is not only to help you produce high-quality work, but to give you the tools to more deeply understand the writing process itself. Not only will your writing improve, but hopefully you'll enjoy it too!
I typically begin my process by reviewing any recent and relevant work you've written and identifying the areas in which you're struggling. After that, we will create a plan of action together, outlining realistic and achievable goals to work towards. The key to becoming a great writer is understanding both your audience and your own voice. Together, we can get you to where you need to be as a writer, and maybe even have fun doing it!
I offer services to anyone ages 12 and up, college students and adults included.
