Deadly! Very good at teaching

Deadly! Mr Aliyu demonstrates broad knowledge of Yoruba language, with engaging teaching techniques.

Deadly! Uncle Tope is truly good, dedicated to his craft and someone who will help you get to speed with the language. He took my twins from 9 to 16/20 within a couple of classes. They were preparing Junior WAEC, and they are now in SS1.

Deadly! Mr. Ayinde is an excellent teacher who brings the rare combination of expertise and passion to Yoruba language teaching!

He made learning tones (a topic that normally intimidates me) very easy to understand and continue building upon on my own. We're so lucky to have diligent teachers like Mr. Ayinde helping us to preserve the Yoruba language.

Deadly! Lessons are going so well. In less than a month, my daugher went from 65% in her yoruba exams to 93% in her mid term test. We are looking foward to even greater things!!! Thank you Mr. Aliyu

Deadly! Oluko Mi! My teacher is fantastic, he makes learning fun and simple. I enjoyed every single lesson. Now I believe that in a matter of time I would be fluent in Yoruba. I am having a great experience and can only rating excellent because that is the highest grade available.

Deadly! Mr Aliyu is a hidden gem in the Yoruba tutors on SuperProf. His teaching style is engaging, and incredibly effective. He has a broad understanding of Yoruba from the standard to local dialects to even slang! From the very first lesson, you can feel his passion for the language and culture, making learning Yoruba very exciting. He is always prompt, reliable and diligent in planning his lessons. All while still allowing for the many questions, videos and interpretations I bring to the table. So far, he has not missed one class or one questions. Perfect record.

Mr. Aliyu is great at explaining and adjusting to my learning levels. After having a challenging time reading and pronouncing Yoruba he explained àmì ohùn (the diacritics we use to indicate tone) are like musical notes changing the tone of a word. It was such a lightbulb moment – suddenly, the tones made sense! I can now read nearly fluently. That's the thing about Mr. Aliyu – he always finds a way to make even the trickiest concepts easy to understand. He's been very open to any videos or interpretations I bring to "class" and we break whatever it is down, so its been more fun than just the core curriculum.

Honestly, my Yoruba has come so far thanks to him. I was recently complimented on my perfect pronunciation (of a song and phrases) all thanks to my classes. I'm now more confident to speak to native Yoruba speakers. He's not just a teacher; he's a guide, a mentor, and someone who truly cares about your language journey. In our classes Mr Aliyu will explain the language, the culture, the history, the Orisha, the geography, to ensure the context of the topic is well understood (this might not be as deep for others but I ask and I have an interest and he has been kind enough to provide this). If you want to learn Yoruba and have a blast doing it, he is simply the best.

Deadly! Very lively teacher with good emphasis on pronunciation and grammar. Definitely recommend it!

Deadly! I have the privilege of learning from an exceptional language teacher, and I couldn't be more impressed with his work. He possesses a rare combination of qualities that makes him an outstanding educator.

His structured approach to teaching is commendable. His lessons are always well-organized, which creates a clear path for students to follow. This structure ensures that every aspect of the language is covered thoroughly, leaving no room for confusion.

His patience is truly a virtue. His calm and patient manner creates a comfortable environment for students to ask questions and make mistakes without fear of judgment.

What impresses me most is his practical approach to imparting knowledge. He doesn't just teach the language academically; he equips students with the skills they need to read, write, speak and translate at all levels.

In conclusion, if you're seeking a language teacher who is structured, patient, flexible, and practical in their methods, Mr Ayinde is undoubtebly the one to go to.

Deadly! Excellent teaching style. My kids have a better understanding of Yoruba now. Also they are gradually building their vocabulary.

Deadly! Mr. Aliyu is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. He has a great amount of attention to detail, is extremely enthusiastic his work, and cares about his students. 100% recommend
