About Sim
I am a native English speaker with an undergraduate degree in political science and a professional certificate in 120 hours of Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I have several years of experience in drafting communication for news, print, and digital media, as well as speech writing.
Additionally, I have several years of experience in working alongside the newcomer community, and am sensitive to the constraints that many in the community might face.

I use a learner-centred approach and design my lessons around the needs of my students, based on their level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR).
My lessons will focus on:
•grammar and vocabulary (lexis, phonology, and functional language)
•receptive skills (listening and reading)
•productive skills (speaking and writing)
I also offer IELTS prep online and in-person.
