About Leah
A graduate of the Alvin Ailey School, I have always been a dancer but I discovered that developing my vocal ability could lead to opportunities in other areas of the art world. Learning vocal techniques and music theory allowed me to expand from dancing to musical theatre. I have performed in many musicals that utilized my dancing ability in tandem with singing, which was only made possible by training my voice in addition to my body. Learning to sing properly furthered my interest in music and I’ve begun making my own music with a band and learning guitar and re-familiarizing myself with the piano. I strongly believe that using the right techniques to strengthen your voice is essential for all performing artists, and can only further one’s potential for success in the industry.
