About Romi
My passion for programming started when I first discovered how software could transform simple ideas into functional systems and applications. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology followed by a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering. During the past 6 years, I have helped students develop coding skills and logical thinking through practical and supportive learning approaches.
I believe programming should feel creative, approachable, and rewarding for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, interactive coding exercises, and step-by-step problem solving that helps students understand concepts deeply instead of memorising patterns. I encourage students to ask questions freely and think independently because confidence grows naturally through active participation and experimentation.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring software development projects, emerging technologies, and modern programming frameworks. Staying connected to technology helps me keep lessons practical and updated for today’s learners. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I enjoy watching students become more capable and confident over time. My goal is always to support learners in developing strong technical skills while building curiosity and long-term confidence in coding.

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand coding through logical thinking, practical exercises, and structured explanation. I teach Python, Java, algorithms, debugging, software development, and object-oriented programming in a beginner-friendly way that encourages confidence and curiosity. Students learn how to approach problems step by step instead of feeling overwhelmed by technical complexity. Every session encourages experimentation, active learning, and creative problem solving.
Lessons are personalised according to each student’s learning level and goals. Beginners focus on syntax, loops, functions, and conditions, while advanced learners work on algorithms, projects, APIs, and optimisation techniques. I include coding practice regularly because hands-on learning helps students strengthen understanding more effectively than memorisation alone. Students are encouraged to test solutions independently while receiving supportive feedback and guidance throughout the learning process.
I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable exploring technology and improving gradually at their own pace. Many learners begin programming with uncertainty, so I focus on simplifying concepts into smaller manageable steps that build confidence steadily. Over time, students improve analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving ability naturally. Programming becomes much more exciting when learners realise they can create useful and meaningful solutions through coding.
