About Ivy
I discovered my passion for programming early in life, fascinated by how code can create solutions and bring ideas to life. This inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science, where I deepened my knowledge of programming languages, software design, algorithms, and project management. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners, develop both technical proficiency and confidence in problem-solving.
I prioritize structured, interactive, and supportive teaching. Beginners receive guidance through step-by-step explanations and simple examples. Intermediate learners explore more complex logic, data structures, and coding patterns. Advanced students work on real-world projects, algorithm optimization, and independent problem-solving, all while developing confidence in coding independently. My teaching emphasizes understanding, creativity, and critical thinking, ensuring that students are not just following instructions but learning to think like programmers.
Outside teaching, I continually explore emerging technologies, programming frameworks, and real-world applications to keep lessons up-to-date and relevant. Incorporating these into practical exercises and projects helps students connect classroom learning with professional applications. Seeing students grow from hesitant beginners into confident problem-solvers who can independently tackle complex programming tasks is highly fulfilling. My ultimate goal is to instill both technical competence and the creative mindset needed to thrive in the ever-evolving world of technology.
