About Sterling
I have 10 years of experience teaching Computer Programming, helping learners gain both technical mastery and analytical thinking skills. I earned a B.Sc in Information Technology, which provided strong foundations in coding, software systems, and computational logic. Over my career, I have guided learners from beginner to advanced levels, designing lessons that combine theory, practical projects, and problem-solving strategies to foster confidence, skill, and curiosity.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, patience, and adaptability. I encourage learners to experiment, ask questions, and reason through challenges while providing step-by-step guidance to ensure comprehension and mastery. Programming becomes exciting when students understand both the underlying logic and the practical applications of code. My lessons cover Python, Java, C++, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, debugging, project planning, and full-stack application development. I emphasize conceptual understanding, problem-solving strategies, and hands-on experience while fostering a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and confidence.
