About Jade
My journey into programming started with curiosity about how computers follow logical instructions to solve problems efficiently. This led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, where I gained comprehensive expertise in programming, software development, algorithms, and system design. Over the past 9 years, I have taught programming to learners of all levels, helping them develop strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and confidence in coding.
I focus on creating structured, interactive, and engaging lessons. Beginners receive patient guidance to understand basic concepts and develop coding habits. Intermediate learners deepen their understanding of algorithms, modular programming, and optimization. Advanced students tackle real-world projects, system design, and complex problem-solving challenges. My teaching emphasizes understanding the “why” behind the code, encouraging independent thinking, experimentation, and creativity.
Outside teaching, I continually explore new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to ensure lessons are up-to-date and relevant. I incorporate these insights into lessons through practical projects, coding challenges, and real-world examples. Watching students progress from hesitant coders to confident problem-solvers, capable of creating functional programs and solving complex challenges independently, is extremely fulfilling. My ultimate goal is to cultivate learners who are not only proficient programmers but also analytical thinkers and confident innovators in technology.

Beginners focus on understanding basic concepts such as variables, loops, conditional statements, and simple functions, gradually gaining confidence in writing code. Intermediate learners work on modular programming, file handling, algorithm design, and code optimization, strengthening logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Advanced learners tackle complex algorithms, data structure optimization, software design patterns, API integration, and real-world application projects to build both technical depth and practical competence.
I structure lessons to ensure steady progress, practical understanding, and problem-solving confidence. Each class includes hands-on coding exercises, debugging challenges, and real-life project examples to make learning interactive and relevant. I encourage experimentation, creativity, and independent thinking, allowing students to approach challenges with both patience and strategy. By fostering a supportive environment, students develop resilience, logical thinking, and adaptability, essential skills in both programming and broader analytical tasks.
