About Dania
Hey, my name is Dania! I am 24 years old. I am originally from Lebanon and moved to Scotland in October 2020. My main languages are English and Arabic but I do know intermediate French. I have a BA in Psychology with Distinction from the American University of Beirut and an MSc in Global Mental Health with Merit from the University of Glasgow.
I am starting a job at the City of Edinburgh Council but alongside that, I want to tutor to develop my skills in teaching and know when to adapt those skills to cater to individual students. I want to use the skills and knowledge I have developed as a student to support others in their studies.

Since I’m a first time tutor, I will base my teaching style on what you prefer and what makes you understand and concentrate most. It will be person centered as I understand the pressures and stresses of being in some learning environments with teachers who are set in their ways.
I am very passionate about psychology and mental health and have excelled in my studies and research. I have also been able to apply my learning in the job market as I’m currently a working professional.
I also understand the importance of having well rounded skills in academic writing and presentations and will help you develop those too.
