About Rebecca

Hi! My name is Becki and I am a visiting lecturer at two universities and am in the process of finishing m PhD research examining the benefits of exercise for people with Parkinson's. I have had the pleasure of teaching students on a BSc Psychology course at two different UK institutions, particularly focusing on biological psychology and research methods. I have recently supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students with their final year projects to completion. This was not only really rewarding but great to work more closely with the students to help develop their research ideas and encourage them in a way to develop their confidence with statistical methods and writing skills. I hope to be able to help and support other students with their studies, whether it be advising on writing an assignment or helping them decide which statistical tests to use. Many students know these things, but it is often some confidence that needs coaxing out. This is one of the great things about teaching, seeing the student develop their academic and personal skills.
