About Nika

I am a doctoral trainee in counselling psychology with a strong academic background and experience supporting university students with their work.

I hold postgraduate qualifications in counselling psychology and a master’s degree in psychology, and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Alongside my studies, I have taught at undergraduate level and supported students with essays, research methods, and dissertations. I have also worked across NHS, third-sector, and educational settings, which means I am used to working with complex material and helping people make sense of it clearly.

I have worked in multiple countries and am very comfortable supporting students whose first language is not English. I can help you develop clarity in your writing, structure your ideas, and express your thinking more confidently in an academic style.

Students I work with often come to me when they feel stuck, unsure how to structure their work, or lacking confidence in their writing. I take a calm, structured approach and focus on helping you understand what you are doing, not just getting something finished.

I am reliable, professional, and easy to work with, and I aim to create a space where you can ask questions freely and make real progress each session.

About the lesson

I offer clear, structured support to help you understand your work, not just get through it.

Most students come to me for help with essays, dissertations, or research methods. In sessions, we break things down step by step so you can see exactly what to do next. This might include planning your structure, improving your argument, working through SPSS or qualitative analysis, or making your writing clearer and more academic.

Sessions are practical and focused. We usually work directly on your assignment together, so you leave with something concrete done, not just notes. I also explain concepts in a way that actually makes sense, especially if you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Sessions are typically 60 minutes and can be used flexibly depending on what you need, whether that is ongoing support or help with a specific deadline.

I am a doctoral trainee in counselling psychology with experience teaching at undergraduate level and working in NHS and educational settings. This means I can support both the academic side of psychology and how it is applied in practice.

I mainly work with undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students, including dissertation and research projects. I also support A-level students with essays and exam preparation.

The aim is to help you feel more confident in your work and understand what you are doing, not just get through one assignment.
