About Daniella
I am currently a lay counsellor who deals with suicide, addiction, trauma, rape, HIV, relationships and more. I have my honours degree in Psychology. I have prior teaching experience tutoring English and Life Orientation to 2 high school kids. I am also currently teaching English part time to Chinese students through a company called TaoTao English. I also help write articles for blogs and websites.

I like to get to know my students and tactile teaching each individual from an empathetic point of view, adapting the way I teach for each student and what suits them best. I will also relate the lesson topic to something they are familiar with. I teach with a lot of patience and kindness. I have no problem explaining something to a student as many times as they need and I will find all sorts of ways until we find a way that works for them. I always start my lesson by seeing how my student is doing, asking if they have any questions and if they are a return student I go over any prior work that needs to be touched on again. Then I begin the lesson for the day by asking questions and doing dialogues and explaining the topic.
