About Gerard Joshua
I was a varsity player during my elementary and high school years. I used my chess skills also to play during college and it handled my tuition fees.
I have been a gold medalist in my individual board and help my College team for the championship and won.
Since I have a passion for teaching, I could not see any reason why my students won't get better unless we don't share the same passion and love for the game.

For Beginners: Fundamentals of chess principles and basic knowledge on how to prepare for the 3 stages of the game. Namely, opening, middlegame and endgame.
For Intermediate Players: Opening Preparation and Positional Analysis
Methodology: I will assess the student's strength based on our first game and identify also where are his weaknesses. From there, consistent analysis will be given and I will examine the learning capability in training games.
