About Emily
I am looking for a role with a real sense of purpose, where I can support others while also learning from my students and their individual experiences. I am easy-going, calm, and confident when communicating and tutoring in both English and German, and I enjoy building positive relationships with people from different backgrounds. With my background in Positive Psychology, I believe I can bring a supportive and encouraging approach to tutoring, helping students build not only their language skills but also their confidence and motivation to learn.

I am able to tutor both German and English. As a native German speaker who learned English myself, I understand the challenges that come with learning and becoming confident in a new language. I believe that language learning is most effective when students have opportunities to use the language in real-life situations, rather than focusing solely on textbooks and grammar. Through conversations and everyday activities, such as shopping for groceries or engaging in fun, practical activities, I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students can build their confidence, improve their communication skills, and enjoy learning the language.
