About Polina

I am a psychology student with a passion for working with children. I have experience volunteering as a counselor-in-training and have spent time helping my younger brother with his reading, English, and Math skills. These experiences have fueled my desire to pursue a career that involves children, such as developmental psychology or pediatrics. I love to create positive, engaging learning environments where students feel supported and excited to learn. I believe in making lessons fun and interactive, while focusing on building confidence and encouraging growth. Through patience, creativity, and dedication, I aim to help every child reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I offer engaging and personalized English lessons for Kindergarten and elementary-aged children. As a psychology student, I understand the importance of tailoring lessons to each child's learning style, helping them build a strong foundation in reading, writing, and communication. My approach combines fun, hands-on activities with clear explanations to keep students excited about learning. I focus on creating a positive, supportive environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Whether it's learning new vocabulary, practicing grammar, or developing reading comprehension skills, my lessons are designed to be both educational and enjoyable, helping children gain confidence and improve their language skills.

Sophie Alessandra

Polina is such a great English tutor. She has a calm, friendly vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away, which is honestly so important when you’re trying to speak in a new language. Her lessons are super clear and well thought out, but never boring—she finds ways to make the material interesting and easy to understand, even if it’s something tricky like grammar or writing structure.

What really stands out about her is how patient and encouraging she is. You never feel rushed or judged, and she always takes the time to make sure things really click. I’ve seen how much her students improve not just in their skills, but in their confidence too.

If you're looking for someone who explains things clearly, keeps things positive, and really cares about your progress, I definitely recommend learning with Polina!
