About Zarqa
I graduated with an Upper Second-Class Honours degree in Psychology with Criminology from City St George’s, University of London, and I’m currently studying for an MSc in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London.
Alongside my academic background, I have experience as a teaching assistant, supporting secondary school students with a range of learning needs. This has taught me the importance of encouragement and adapting my approach to suit each student. I want my students to feel confident in their abilities, and motivated to do their best. Most importantly, I want to help every student recognise their potential and help them to reach their target goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether you're struggling with a particular topic, looking to improve your exam technique, or aiming for the highest grades. I use interactive discussions, relevant real-life examples, and exam-focused strategies to make psychological concepts easier to understand, remember, and apply.
As everyone learns differently, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can learn at their own pace. We’ll work together to identify areas for improvement, strengthen your knowledge, and develop effective revision and exam techniques.
I offer 60-minute lessons for GCSE and A-Level Psychology students of all abilities. Whether you're aiming for an A*, working towards your target grade, or simply need a little extra support, I’m here to help you build confidence, make progress, and achieve your goals.
