About Fatema

I’m a Psychology graduate with an MSc in Psychology, and I’ve always enjoyed learning about what influences the way we think, feel and behave.

I want to teach because I know that Psychology can sometimes seem overwhelming, with so many theories, studies and concepts to remember. My aim is to make it clear, interesting and easier to understand, while helping students develop the confidence to apply what they have learned.

I’m a patient and supportive person, and I believe everyone learns differently. I’ll take the time to understand what you’re finding difficult and adapt my lessons to suit you, whether you need help understanding a particular topic, preparing for exams, improving your essays or simply building your confidence.

I’m passionate about helping students discover that Psychology can be both interesting and rewarding, and I’d love to help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring

My teaching approach is friendly, patient and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I believe Psychology is much easier to understand when complex theories and concepts are broken down into clear, manageable ideas.

I use a combination of clear explanations, questioning, discussion, real-life examples, active recall and exam-style practice. I encourage students to explain concepts in their own words so that I can identify any gaps in understanding and help them build confidence.

For GCSE and A-Level students, I can also focus on exam technique, essay structure, evaluation, research methods and applying psychological concepts to exam questions.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged where appropriate.

I hold an MSc in Psychology and have a strong academic background in the subject. As I return to tutoring, I am particularly focused on providing supportive, well-structured lessons and making Psychology accessible and enjoyable.

My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level Psychology students, as well as students who are new to Psychology or need additional support with particular topics, revision, research methods or exam preparation.

My aim is not simply to help students memorise information, but to help them understand Psychology, think critically and develop the confidence to apply their knowledge independently.
