About Carl
A recent Public Health BSc graduate. Previous experience of working within Human Resources (HR) in Medical HR.
Previous experience of mentoring students at university, I received nominations for Mentoring Ambassador of the Year in 2021.
Supporting students to achieve their full potential and make a positive difference to society is what motivates me to tutor students after the global pandemic which affected our lives.

•I believe it is important to understand that each student is different and with the right tailored tutoring sessions the desired grade is always achievable with the required effort.
•Initially building a rapport with the student is key as this helps develop confidence and a healthy student and tutor relationship. I encourage students to engage in answering questions as this also builds confidence.
•Building from a foundation of where the student is currently at is helpful to start from. Re-capping from the previous session is a technique that helps to re-instate key points.
•Familiarising student with relevant public health competencies, frameworks and models is crucial to develop knowledge and professional practice within public health.
•Lessons are 1 hour duration
•I have a first class honours degree in Public Health - Higher National Certificate in Health & Life Science - A Levels in Biology and ICT - 9 GCSE's A-C including Maths, English and Science
•Online lessons are for public health students at undergraduate/ post graduate level, Or for anyone with an interest in public health. Age's 16+
