Each meeting or session has a certain theme or is part of an umbrella of sessions under one theme. I discuss the why: why I do what I do, ask why my student(s) is here, and breakdown the subject I’m teaching. The student’s why helps me best assess their needs. I demonstrate and work with the student through different exercises and give reasonable assignments designed not only to fit into their day, but to contribute to their overall success that day. Experimentation is a big part of my teachings.
