About Matthew

I have tutored since the age of 18 and have recently completed my Law LLB (obtaining a first-class Honours) as well as the BPTC (Outstanding) and a Masters in Law (Distinction)

I have published in the fields of Family, Employment and Tort Law and can offer guidance on GCSE, A-level law, University or BVC.

About the lesson

Whether you need help preparing for GCSE or A-level exams, LLB or BPTC assessments, or indeed for your future career at the Bar, I am an experienced tutor to help guide you through the process and to ensure you get the results you want and deserve.

I can assist in the following:

- GCSE curriculum coverage, including legal systems, criminal law and the law of torts

- A level exam preparation

- LLB exams

- Dissertation guidance, including planning the topic, through to the final review before submission.

- Pupillage-related questions and application forms

- CV reviews and video interview preparation

I am a current pupil Barrister, practising in Criminal Law at a well-respected London Chambers.

My teaching method is a one-to-one session where I explore how to identify the relevant issues in a problem-style question before tackling how to answer a 'legal' essay. I offer guidance on basic and complex structures to such questions and insight as to how to get the top marks from the questions.

For BVC students, I offer in-depth explanations of concepts on the civil and criminal litigation exams. I have banks of past papers and so can develop your understanding prior to any exams or resits.
