About Isolde

I hold a Master’s in Computer Science and have spent over seven years teaching Python to students from beginners to professionals. My passion lies in demystifying coding, making it accessible, and showing how it applies to real-life scenarios. I focus on ensuring that learners understand the logic behind the code, not just how to type it. In my lessons, I emphasise practical application and creativity. Students work on projects that resonate with their interests, from automating simple workflows to analysing real datasets. I believe that learning by doing not only reinforces skills but also builds curiosity and confidence. I also integrate problem-solving exercises and critical thinking challenges. My goal is to help students develop a mindset where coding becomes a tool for creativity, logic, and innovation. I strive to inspire learners to explore Python beyond the classroom and apply it effectively in their academic, professional, and personal projects.

About the lesson

My Python lessons are designed to make programming approachable, practical, and engaging. I start with the fundamentals of Python syntax, data types, and control structures, gradually moving to object-oriented programming, functions, and libraries. Students learn by building projects that solve real-world problems, such as automating tasks, analysing datasets, or creating small web applications. This hands-on approach helps learners see immediate results from their work. I integrate visualisation tools and real datasets to make abstract concepts tangible. From plotting graphs with matplotlib to manipulating dataframes with pandas, students gain both theoretical understanding and applied skills. By the end of the course, learners gain the confidence to write efficient code independently, understand problem-solving strategies, and explore advanced topics like AI, machine learning, or web development with a strong Python foundation.
