About Jessie
I am a dynamic and lively educator with a passion for teaching. My lessons are imaginative, creative and adaptable to the needs and learning methods of each individual student. Throughout my teaching career I have helped students to achieve excellent GCSE and A Level results, through a calm, reassuring approach. I strive to ensure all students have the confidence and resilience to be the best they can be.

Hi there! My name is Jessie, I am a qualified History and Politics teacher and have been teaching for seven years, in both private and state secondary education.
I offer a reassuring, confidence-boosting approach. I will always adapt to my students' specific learning needs and preferences, and will motivate and support you in becoming the best student you can be. I am an A Level examiner for OCR and Pearson, and GCSE examiner for CIE. I can, however, cover all exam boards, including AQA and Edexcel, having taught them at previous schools.
My lessons will typically assist with knowledge retention or exam skills, including developing your analysis and evaluation skills to secure strong essay technique. I can also assist with preparations for exam, including revision and anxiety management.
Throughout my career I have worked closely with SEN departments in my school and therefore can offer SEN support to students with ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. Furthermore I have a TEFL qualification so can tutor those who are looking to improve their English language skills.
