About Kayla
I am a very energetic, warm, kind hearted and loving person. I have a lot of patience when working with children as well as a genuine understanding of their cognitive and physical development which helps me communicate and build stable and strong relationships with them. I, under no circumstance, like conflict so I usually try to avoid it as much as possible as I am a very soft person. I love the outdoors! I like nothing more than to spend my free time going for a hike, taking an adventure/road trip, doing trail runs or going for a nice easy afternoon cycle.
I was never a very academic student in school. I leaned more to the cultural side of my education life. However, I have also had a passion for Psychology, hence why I am working towards my Master’s Degree in Psychology. More so, I am considering obtaining a degree in Child Psychology as I LOVE working with children.

Most of my lessons are based on the English Language. I teach in-depth lessons on grammar, spelling, creative writing, punctuation, pronunciation, poetry and literature.
When teaching Foundation Phase I comprise my lessons of a variety of activities all regarding English as a First Additional Language, Afrikaans as a Second Additional, Maths, Art, Life Orientation and Computer Skills.
