About Shummi

I am an enthusiastic teacher who takes pride in teaching students and helping them overcome their difficulties. I am patient and able to make you feel at ease in order for you to build confidence and apply knowledge and skills to improve in your school work and exams. I have a proven record of teaching exam groups at a wide variety of abilities with success.

About the lesson

I teach lessons in a calm and relaxed manner focusing on learner needs. I utilise a variety of teaching methods such as PowerPoints, note taking, knowledge organisers and metacognitive learning. I focus primarily on using exam questions and past papers to learn exam skills. For younger students, I focus on developing reading and writing skills and techniques to aid progress and development.

She is incredibly patient and nurturing and takes her time with my daughter making sure the lessons are enjoyable but packed with information.
