About Caoimhe
My name is Caoimhe (pronounced as Keeva), I am currently a student at the university of Liverpool, studying Law with Spanish. I have just finished a placement year in Spain, during which I taught English as a foreign language in a secondary school in Almería. In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends, play netball and play the clarinet.

I have lots of experience teaching English as a foreign language to students, having spent a year teaching in a secondary school in Spain and also teaching private online and face-to-face English classes to students who wish to learn English. It is important to focus on all aspects of the language learning, such as reading, listening, writing and speaking, whilst enjoying the learning journey and going at a suitable pace for the learner. I use a range of methods such as the PPP (presentation, practice and production) method, task-based learning, grammar translations, the audio lingual method as well as the total physical response method, which makes use of physical gestures. If a method is not working for a student I will find a new way of learning to suit their needs.
