About Louise
Hi, I’m Louise, an experienced English teacher with over a decade of helping young people grow in confidence and achieve strong results. I’ve taught English across KS3 and KS4, led KS4 English, and worked as an English Examiner and Team Leader, giving me a clear understanding of what exam boards are looking for and how to help students succeed.
Alongside my classroom work, I’ve also supported students preparing for 11+ exams, helping them strengthen their reading, writing and comprehension skills while building confidence under pressure.
My lessons are warm, calm and highly personalised. I take time to understand each learner’s starting point and create supportive, structured sessions that make English feel manageable and achievable. Whether a student needs focused GCSE or A Level preparation or early support ahead of the 11+, I meet them where they are and help them move forward with clarity and reassurance.
