About Claire

I have a lot of experience teaching one-to-one. So while our classes can be light and casual, you can be sure you will continuously improve in all areas, especially speaking with confidence. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art and have received the highest award in my CELTA. I look forward to learning about you and helping you to achieve a high standard of English.

About the lesson

I have a friendly approach to lessons, they should be enjoyable while learning something new each lesson, this is the best way to boost your confidence in the English language!

I have been teaching for 9 years, all ages and levels. So I welcome everyone!

The lessons are tailored for you, your needs and interests are most important and I will prepare lessons just for you.
Lessons will be 1 hour or 2 hours in length and can be more than once a week.

We will generally follow a book covering speaking, listening, reading and writing (if needed). There is always space to adjust lessons and the focus will always be on speaking in a natural way. I often mix in language games or current conversation topics into the lessons.

We will always have something to talk about and to learn! It is amazing how much your confidence will grow :)
